We go there for chicken feed occasionally. They're not the worst around, although customer service doesn't seem to be their strongest asset. Who cares? It's a hardware/farm supply store! Know what you need/want, look for it, and you might find it. Don't expect the people behind the counter to know what you're talking about. They're kids! They stock a lot of stuff, most of it isn't priced but now they provide those things where you can scan it and get the price. Don't sweat the small stuff, and you'll do fine. And I like that they don't care if it's summer or winter, when they're closed, they're CLOSED.
Cool hardware store. Much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Awesome assortment of items. Service is very good here. Prices are reasonable.

The employees here are always super helpful! Though it is not a huge box store with endless options, they carry most of the essential hardware and it's great when it can save us the longer drive to a bigger store.
This hardware store is a throwback to what real hardware stores are supposed to be. You can have your Lowes, Home Depot, and the rest of the crap stores that carry 99% of their items from China. Go ahead and look it up. Even the pieces that state "American Made" are simple assembled here. I love this store! Do I get lost & spend too much time in there searching...yes. Could they arrange things a little better...yes. Do their hours suck really bad on weekends in the summer...yes. Hopefully the owner will read that last sentence. The summer is you money maker. Even staying open until 7:30 would be a huge bonus. All that said, I for one, will continue to support the little local stores & with Longmeadow, there's over 30,000 items to choose from. Great people and help support this dying breed. Thank you, Longmeadow!
This is the worst place ever it was great when Russell ran it but now it's gone straight down hill.. the guy Tim out back is a pervert I brought my 15 yr old daughter with me to rental department and he creeped on her the whole time caught him looking numerous time and he reeked of alcohol. I'm all set with that.. and prices are outrageous go to ace in ossipee
