Food was great and interesting. Service was good and prices not bad.
We stayed Jan 21/22 and our room (Frost Rm) was very nice and comfortable. Dinner and Breakfast were perfect and delicious. However during our entire stay we never saw or spoke with the owners. No one even introduced themselves or welcomed us other than the young girl that checked us in. We sat for several hours in the 2nd floor sitting room reading and enjoyed some coffee (we tried to sit in the 1st floor sitting room but two of the three floor lamps would not work) . The next day our used cups were still there and the cream had not been replenished. Need some attention to detail here.
My husband and I just returned from a stay at this comfortable, historic inn. We would return in a heartbeat! The hosts were welcoming, the accommodations immensely comfortable and the food outstanding! A beautiful and serene place, it is situated near the Lakes region of NH and just south of the White Mountain National Forest.
Awsome Inn Keepers. Very kind and flexible. Great breakfasts included..full menu. Grand old fashion B&B!

We have been at the Wakefield Inn Restaurant a couple times, food has been really good, service is excellent. We save this place for special occasions, as reservations are usually required, but definitely worth it if you want a special evening out.
